i was coming in from the market across the street -

i had a hankering for a chox bar -

and then waiting for the elevator to open -

just happy to be eating my cadbury chox bar.

i waited at the side of the elevator -
and a couple came out -

a guy and a girl - i think latin - they weren't anglo or french - but whatever -

the guy felt the need to say "Excuse Me!"

in a really affected - display of his machismo -

and as his head was turned away - i rolled my eyes like ... oh mary get over yourself -

the girl's eyes - who followed him met mine

and with a look of - i totally get what your saying

and a bit of an eye roll as well - and then she went back to chatting with him -

lol - he was annoying but

she has to date him - and she seems to 'get him"

There have been studies about various aspects of this. The problem was probably that as he came out of the lift he felt you were in his "space" - hence the comment.

To give you an idea what level this belongs to, Bruno does the same thing to me! I feed him, but as soon as there's food in his bowl I'm too close, so he growls.

this is so wild - you know -

i was far away in terms of space -

but i had a primal moment too

the other day

i left my weights at the gym -

but went to get water -

some fella went close to them - and

instinctly i started back to the weights after he passed by them

to be sure they were 'ok' -

.....???
