I wished that it was all a nightmare, it was not true, how could it be!

How could it really be true?

Did I ever think society would help him when he was so young and crying in the dark, finding solace in an empty house on a building site to just sit and cry his little heart out.

He sensed that nobody loved or really cared for him in the World, not anybody.

He became an outcast of a shell of the boy he should have been, and maybe go on to great things, and be a valuable member of society.

Nobody wants to know you when you are down, they just pour on more hurt, even when they know you are already hurting, they dont know how to deal with my hurt.

Nobody knows, who cares, and who is that boy who shows no feeling yet the little boy cries out in hurt inside, does nobody see him, does nobody care?

I guess not.

This little boy is a fighter though, and he will fight until people recognise the effects of CSA on kids.

Abusers who take away a childs life, by keeping them silent will be hopefully a thing of the past,

Ste,

I think it will take many years but I also think there will be progress. Despite the disastrous news stories we see there is a lot to be celebrated. Many new resources for survivors, a lot more awareness, and so on.

A really tangible sign is the number of teenagers who are showing up here. I am told there were none hardly a year ago, and now there are between 20 and 30. That abused boys are able to take this crucial step forward at such young ages surely shows that there are big changes underway.

Much love,
Larry

I wish I got help in my teens and twenties heck even when it happened origonally at 7. I agree there has to me more public awareness about CSA maybe someday it will be like Polio only a distant horrible memory . I do feel that some people in the media cover this for the ratings and the " if it bleeds it leads attitude " that is wrong I feel.Maybe they feel they are doing great who knows.

It is great to see that you are willing to stand up and demand change. Togeather we can educate the world about CSA.

The most important thing that we can do is to teach the children to never hide in the silence. If chridren know they will be listened to and beleieved we can stop the perps and put them in jail.
