2005 MS Conference

When and where is the 2005 MS Conference. I want to start planning to attend/possibly help with conference planning if it'll be held at a location near me.

I think the venue is still being decided, but I'm not absolutely sure on that.

At this point, the Board of Directors is looking at the possibility of having the next conf in Denver. The date may be 2005 but more likely it will be 2006. We will be discussing this at the board meeting in two weeks. If you have suggestions or ideas, why not post them in a thread under "Ask the Board"?

PS Choice of location is probably not negotiable since Fred has already done some legwork to line up potential sponsors and conf committee people. So, if you think Las Vegas would be a neat place to do the next conf, forget about it since there would have to be people in the location to do all the legwork. Believe me, after being on the conf committee for several MS confs and two national confs for juvenile sexual abusers, the work is definitely mostly local people and you need about 12-18 months lead time to make it happen.

Not to be a dog, but I am just curious why we as members were voting on location, when it seems it was rather predetermined?

It is probably not my place to question, as I do not think I would be attending anyway.
