Yes that story has touched all of us here to some extent. I find it very interesting that the media has hounded them and yet there is not a single utterance of sexual abuse, even though it's the very first thing every one (I think?) thinks of when they follow this story.

Let's just be thankful that he wasn't the sadistic killer type of abductor and that at least they're back with their families again. Hopefully they'll both go on to live happy and productive lives.
 
The media reporting is just an extension of abuse for those two kids.
If a kid is being abused, now there is no way they are going to tell in case the world gets to kmow about it.

Shawn looked like a robot, as his family must have dragged him to the news conference.
They dont know the damage they are doing.
More to the point, is if they are doing it for money.

Yeah, he wont be able to go far without the cameras following him, and papers wanting his story.

Sad in once sense, but I look forward to meeting those kids here when they are old enough to work it all out and find us. At least they will be in the right place where we can help them and help be a part of their recovery by supporting and listening to them.
