Hello, my name is David Ruda and I am a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor in California working with a private practice. I hope to be a helpful resource for any boys and men to heal from sexual victimization. In our sessions I will provide a safe and empathic space to start this process.
Regardless of where you may be on your journey, I will meet you there and co-create the path forward. It is critical to find a therapist that will allow you to move at your own pace and help you understand the process as you move towards healing. I believe a healing journey is a cumulative process that may look different for everyone. As no one experiences trauma in the same way – no one heals in the same way.
One of my areas of expertise is working with men who have experienced sexual victimization. My experience in research while writing my dissertation on emerging adult men who experience sexual victimization gave me some insight to these experiences and I continue to grow and learn from those who have suffered from this abuse in my therapy sessions with clients helping them to explore help-seeking patterns and contain their psychological distress.
Feel free to check out my page our practice website and reach out for a free 20-minute consultation. I would love an opportunity to get to know you help you to heal.
