I have been described as bubbly, easy to talk to, and non-judgmental. I believe this is because I see myself as a human being first and a therapist second. I understand that, at their core, people simply want to be seen, heard, and understood. That’s why I prioritize getting to know my clients and fostering a genuine connection. I believe real change and healing happen when vulnerability is met with safety and compassion. Creating a space where clients feel secure enough to be seen in their most authentic form is at the heart of my work. Because of this, I consider it a privilege when someone chooses to work with me.
I take a holistic approach to therapy, always meeting clients where they are on their journey. My practice is flexible, integrating different modalities based on each client’s unique needs. Meaning I use modalities such as CBT, mindfulness practices diverted from DBT, psychodynamic approaches, and EMDR.
I also specialize in working with survivors of sexual abuse, offering a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to process trauma at their own pace. I understand the complex and often long-lasting impact that sexual abuse can have on self-worth, relationships, and emotional regulation. For this reason I obtained training in EMDR to help further assist clients outside of traditional talk therapy.
