Core Psychotherapy Center, Ltd. is a private trauma-based psychotherapy treatment center in Schaumburg, IL serving the Chicagoland area since 2000. Our seasoned therapists work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect, sexual assault, domestic violence, sex trafficking, organized abuse, torture, survivors of war, military veterans, first responders, as well as survivors of non-relational trauma. CPC specializes in the treatment of PTSD, dissociative disorders including dissociative identity disorder (DID), somatic disorders, self-injury, eating disorders and other comorbid disorders.

CPC offers individual psychotherapy and facilitates the following groups: women survivors of childhood sexual abuse; men survivors of childhood sexual abuse; men's trauma group; women survivors of sexual assault; adult survivors of childhood physical abuse and neglect; sexuality and sexual intimacy; transgender adolescents and adults; and military veterans.

Our treatment approach is grounded in relational and attachment perspectives. We believe that healing occurs through collaborative work and places emphasis on the significance of addressing the impact of trauma in an individual’s ways of coping and maintaining relationship with self and others.
